1908 $20 Saint Gaudens
No Motto PCGS MS 69 Wells Fargo Hoard
A coin from the “Holy Grail” of coin hoards!
The centerpiece of any collection!

In 1996, 19,900 $20 Saint Gaudens were found in a Nevada Wells Fargo Bank untouched since 1917.  The coins were supposed to be used for World War 1 debt but were forgotten for almost 80 years.  This coin is 1 of only 10 coins to be graded an almost perfect MS 69 grade.

Today, NGC and PCGS have graded almost 2.2 million $20 Saint Gaudens gold pieces and only 10, YES, only 10 have graded an almost perfect MS 69.  This is one of those 10 and the only 1 available for sale.

1908 Saint Gaudens MS69 Details

These coins seldom come up for sale, so once this is sold, it's gone!  To compare, a 1907 $20 Ultra High Relief in PCGS Proof 69 sold for over 2.7 million dollars in 2012.  A proof coin is a presentation piece that few coins are struck each year and are to be minted to near perfection.

Whereas Mint State coins, like this coin being offered, are made in bulk and are not minted to perfection.  To find a coin like this graded MS 69 is almost impossible and, to compare, this coin is being offered at a fraction of the 2.7-million-dollar price tag of the 1907, this should be a great buy!
